What is Maker Faire?

Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Maker Faire is a venue for these "makers" to show hobbies, experiments, projects.

We call it the Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth - a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness.

Glimpse the future and get inspired!

Calling All Makers

Makers showcase what they make, inspiring others with their passion and teaching skills necessary for invention. From robots and microprocessors to experimental music and jewelry, any and every act of making is on display.

Last year featured LEGO cityscapes of Cincinnati icons, fully-functioning R2-D2s, a marching band playing MacGyver’ed intsruments, 3D printing demos and a cardboard free-build area, where imaginations ran wild. This year, CMC is expecting crazier contraptions, more explosive spectacles and innovative inventions that will showcase the region’s imagination. Come join us for a day of imagination, discovery and curiosity!
